TOPIC: HORIZON-CL6-2022-FARM2FORK-01-04 - Innovative solutions to prevent adulteration of food bearing quality labels: focus on organic food and geographical indications
PROJECT AIM: Future-proofing the quality of food supply chains is good for the environment and crucial for the health safety of consumers. Lax oversight of food supply chains can result in food fraud and unexpected problems, as well as profit loss for suppliers and more. The EU-funded ALLIANCE project will find a solution by developing an innovative holistic framework. It will ease the monitoring of products, protect data, and provide much-needed transparency and traceability. This will protect food supply chains while ensuring the consumption of safe food and reduced environmental impact.

Biotechnological tools for optimization of short and medium chain carbohydrates content in cereal-based food to prevent gastrointestinal disorders – GutFriendlyCarbs

CILJ ISTRAŽIVANJA: Najnovija istraživanja su dokazala da jedan deo prehrambenih vlakana (FODMAP jedinjenja) prouzrokuje smetnje u funkciji digestivnog trakta zdrave populacije, kao i pojačavanje tegoba kod populacije sa određenim gastrointestinalnim oboljenjima. Projekat GutFriendlyCarbs će se baviti iznalaženjem biotehnološkog načina razgradnje prisutnog viška sadržaja FODMAP jedinjenja tokom proizvodnje hleba i ostalih pekarskih proizvoda, koji će istovremeno zadovoljiti preporuke nutricionista i biti dopadljivi potrošačima.
