At the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, our young researchers dished out eco-friendly bites at the EU Kitchen event, organized by the Europe House – giving visitors a taste of sustainable science!
Each bite was more than just a snack – it was a research sandwich:
🍞 The base? Made from gluten-free bread mixture by CROPDIVA.
🐟 The filling? Flavours inspired by underutilized crops from CROPDIVA, and low trophic species from Impress Horizon Europe Project — layered with sustainability and a pinch of creativity.
🌿 The garnish? Ingredients inspired by microgreens and insects – the tiny powerhouses of nutrition and sustainability.
Together, they served up a bold bite of what the future of food might taste like. Big thanks to everyone who stopped by and took a bite out of science! 🍽
