IMPRESS Project – Small plant, big potential for sustainable future! 🌱🐟🌍

FINS researchers participated in VICTAM International and the 3rd International Feed Technology Congress, held in Utrecht, within the framework of the Horizon Europe IMPRESS Project.

This time, the spotlight was on duckweed – a small aquatic plant with great potential to become a sustainable ingredient in extruded aquafeed. The presented work explored how duckweed can support the development of new feed formulations and contribute to reducing reliance on conventional protein sources such as soybean meal.

The event was a great place to exchange ideas, meet experts from the feed and aquaculture sectors, and share IMPRESS research with the international scientific and professional community.
